2018-2019 is Raphael’s first year on the Board, and he serves on the Communications and Development Committees. He and his wife Alexandra (Ali) have two children at ISTP, in 1st and 4th grades. He is an entrepreneur in health tech and founder of Eargo, a VC-backed company that designs and markets next-generation hearing devices directly to the consumer. He received degrees in engineering, business, and management from École Polytechnique (France), Stanford University, and the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and he serves as a Technology Pioneer for the World Economic Forum. Raphael grew up in the French Alps and is an avid skier.
