Early Years Program Substitutes Needed

The International School of the Peninsula seeks variable hour substitute teachers and day care staff for our early years programs, beginning immediately. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications set by Community Care Licensing to be a fully qualified teacher (hold a current Child Development Teacher Permit OR have 12 semester units/16 quarter units in early childhood/development or equivalent courses, and at least 1 year teaching experience in a youth group program). 

All employees must demonstrate commitment to ISTP’s mission and the population we serve, as well as be experienced with teaching at the grade school level. He or she must also be responsible, self-motivated, friendly, willing to work with a team of colleagues, and be accepting and adaptable to a working environment with different cultures.

Most substitute needs vary from day to day, although for some needs we do know the schedule in advance. 

$15-30/hour; no benefits. Please note this is not a contract position and we cannot guarantee any amount of hours.
