Pre-Kindergarten
The calendar below is an example of a day in the life of a pre-kindergarten student. At the ISTP, we offer an academically structured program in the pre-school years that gives them strong exposure to two languages: either French or Chinese (80% of the time), plus English (20% of the time). Students will work with words, sounds, numbers, and phonics in a structured way. This provides them with all the necessary skills to succeed in Elementary school. At the same time, we also take into account the child's social development through a variety of age-appropriate activities.

NOTE: This is an example of a possible schedule. Actual schedule may vary depending on classroom.
Nearly all activities occur in the target language (French or Chinese), except for approximately one hour of English instruction per day.
