5th Grade Students Learn About WWI in Blérancourt, France 10/19/2012 Each year, 5th grade students are given the opportunity to go on an exchange trip to Blérancourt, France, a village in the Picardie region of France, which was heavily affected by the ravages of WWI. Decades ago, Anne Morgan, American heiress and philanthropist, traveled to this war-torn area and worked tirelessly to raise money and aid the people of the area. Through her work and dedication, the American Friends of Blérancourt was established, and ISTP is fortunate to be a part of an exchange program for students.
5th Grade English teacher, Erin O., is one of the chaperones on the exchange trip and blogs about the students' experiences and the knowledge they are gaining about both WWI and Franco-American relations. Read her posts on ISTP's blog site.

Thank You Gala Supporters! 4/1/2012 Thanks to our guests, donors, volunteers, and sponsors, our 24th Annual Gala and Auction, "To Russia with Love" was able to raise approximately $130,000 for ISTP! $63,000 of the evening's raised funds will go to the Fund-a-Need for co-curricular athletics.
