From Philippe Dietz, Head of School
|ISTP has a tradition of preparing its students for the challenges of an interconnected, 21st century world through a rigorous, French immersion or Chinese immersion (Mandarin) and multicultural education. We have had over thirty years of experience in sharing cultures, languages, and providing students with more tools to describe and succeed in the world they live in.|
On a daily basis, our faculty and staff are committed to understanding the intellectual, physical, and emotional growth and needs of each student, while focusing on the core values of bilingual immersion education, curriculum integration, and responsible international consciousness.
While I am proud to be the head of ISTP, I am even more proud of all members of our tight-knit community. We share a bond that is difficult to describe unless you experience it for yourself. Our school and the type of education we provide bring us all together in a way that benefits our students immeasurably. I am especially proud of our exemplary students, with all their incredible talents, their capacity for hard work, their ability to think outside of the box, and their deep respect for others. When I walk the halls of our school and listen to them communicating with others in two or more languages, and see the level of confidence they have in themselves, I know that what we do here at ISTP is unparalleled.
As you browse through our new site and discover the depth and uniqueness of our program and community, please look at our French immersion or Chinese immersion academic curriculum, our arts program, as well as our community activities. Look also at the pictures of our students, where you will see their joy of learning, their excitement, and most importantly, how a bilingual education can shape their lives.
