ISTP’s Party Book is full of fun events generously donated by our local business community. Without them, we could not have pulled this together. We at ISTP have been truly blessed by a community that has generously embraced and supported us. It is our turn now to give back to our community. And what better way to teach our children the values of giving than by having them involved in volunteering right by our sides. We looked long and hard for a volunteer project that we could sponsor that would be appropriate for families with children of all age groups. We found CityTrees. CityTrees (www.citytrees.org) was founded in May 2000. It is a volunteer organization dedicated to “improving the quality of life in Redwood City through a coordinated program of tree planting and maintenance”. CityTrees has helped restore greenery and the reforestation efforts in Redwood City by planting more than 800 trees with the help of various supporters and volunteer sponsors. For this Party Book event, we are asking for three hours of your time to plant trees along side your family and ISTP community. It is the ultimate gift that keeps on giving!!!
