| Cinco de Mayo Celebration in 6th IB | |||||||||||

| Cinco de mayo was celebrated by the 6thIB Spanish class with a fun FIESTA where the students shared authentic Mexican food and songs with the rest of their classmates. The students read a brief account of the history behind the celebration which honors the Battle of Puebla. Here, an outnumbered Mexican army defeated a greater invading force in 1862. After the songs and food, the students enjoyed a traditional Mexican party game, the breaking of a PINATA. All the students and teachers present agreed that the party was MUY BUENA.
