On Wednesday, November 14th the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders in the Chinese Program, took a field trip to Sunset Magazine in Menlo Park. A docent taught the students a lesson about the history of the103 year old magazine. Then she led them on a tour through the famous Sunset gardens which are part of Sunset's laboratory for Western living, where editors and staff test their ideas. Finally, the students received a cabbage plant, a magazine, and a peanutbutter cookie. The grounds are beautiful and open to the public. Call (650) 321-3600 for more information.
